Governing Bodies

The governing bodies of APA - Association of Parents and Guardians of the Alegria School, are represented by the Board of the General Assembly, the Executive Council and the Supervisory Council.

The General Assembly is made up of all the members who enjoy full rights. The members are the parents and guardians of students enrolled at Escola Básica da Alegria, who voluntarily applied to be part of the Association.

The members of the Board of the General Assembly, the Executive Council and the Supervisory Council are elected annually, by direct suffrage by their associates who make up the General Assembly. ​

The APA's social year begins in October and ends on the thirtieth of September of the following year.
